The death of Mrs. Levi Livain Dupuis occurred here early Saturday (17 mars) morning following several weeks of illness. She was 70.
Born in St André, Mrs. Dupuis was the former Alice Dupuis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sifroid (Anastasia Brine) Dupuis of Cape Bald. Her hustand predeceased her five years ago.
Surviving are five sons, Léo, Léonard, Henry and Phillipe of Memramcook East and Emery of Penn., U.S.A.; three daughters, Mrs. Phillipe LeBlanc (Dora), Mrs. Yvette LeBlanc (Emma), Mrs. Aimé Cormier (Annie), all of Memramcook East; one adopted daughter, Clara; one brother, Edmund, 68 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
The body is resting at the home of her son Léo, Memramcook East. Funeral service will he held here Tuesday. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
